On behalf of the Local Organising Committee we take great pleasure in inviting you to attend PSANZ 2010, the 14th Annual Congress of the Perinatal Society of Australia and New Zealand (PSANZ). PSANZ 2010 will be held from 28th to 31st March 2010 at the Wellington Convention Centre, Wellington, New Zealand. This is the first time our Congress has been held here and we hope you will take advantage of the opportunity to enjoy Wellington and its surrounds.Wellington is both the cultural centre and the capital of New Zealand and is renown for its galleries, museums, restaurants and shopping all of which are within walking distance of the conference centre. Before or after the conference you may also want to check out the world class Pinot Noir in the Wairarapa (just over an hours drive from Wellington) or fly or sail over Cook Strait to sample world class Sauvignon Blanc in Marlborough. We want to warmly welcome to the Congress all professionals providing clinical care and research expertise in the many specialities contributing to perinatal care. We hope to continue the tradition that this Annual Congress has of being the most influential gathering place for colleagues within Australasia and beyond to join together to share scientific and clinical knowledge with the common goal of improving perinatal care. The theme for the Congress is Specialties working together to ensure optimal longterm outcomes. There will be a particular focus on the multidisciplinary nature of perinatal care and the manner in which early influences can have implications for longterm outcomes. If you would like to participate in this Congress as an exhibitor, please contact the Congress Managers.
The fundamental objective of PSANZ is to foster communication between health professionals, to advance the practice and understanding of Perinatology and our Annual Congress is the primary forum for this communication.
We look forward to welcoming you to Wellington in 2010!
